摘要:The research goals are to evaluate and analyze the effect of location, demand and human resource on the flexibility of informal sector in Jayapura. All of people that work at informal sector in Jayapura is the research population. The research sample is about 322 people, taken by using cluster proportionate random sampling method. Descriptive analysis and SEM (structural equation models) were used to find the problem solving and to evaluate the hypotheses. The results indicate that only demand and human resource factors that significantly influence the flexibility of informal sector in Jayapura. The results recommend the future researcher to conduct studies on the formal sector, and for the local government of Jayapura, it is suggested to improve human resources quality in the informal sector. Besides workforce projects are needed to enhance industrial and bussines growth as well as transportation, production support, and small scale entrepreneurs are to be supported by the local government.
