摘要：Poverty means living under the minimum standard of primary needs for living properly. Poverty especially in developing country was caused by several factors such us insufficient capital, lack of overhead social capital, and their dependence on developed country. Based on these factors, we can conclude that one of the problems related to poverty is low quality of human resource. Therefore, improving the quality of human resource for developing human capital will be the solution for poverty. Economic development theory supports this argument and states that development in economy and economic growth can be increased by developing human capital mainly through education. Therefore, economic education can play important roles for this purpose.The duties of economic education are preparing student as the rational economic agents, preparing quality human resources, producing new entrepreneurs, and emerging professional economic experts.
