摘要：Along with the progress of network technology and Internet development, theapplication of Internet technology in education will be needed in order toimprove and distribute evenly the quality of education, especially in highereducation. So that the appropriate and quick solutions are needed to overcomevarious problems related to the quality of education now. With theInternet-based distance learning applications the dependence on distance andtime required for the implementation of education and training will beovercome, because all needs will be provided online so that they can beaccessed at any time. Web is one of the Internets technology that has evolvedand is the most commonly used in the implementation of education and trainingdistance (e-Learning). An example of the web-based learning media isIntelligent Tutoring System (ITS). ITS is a system that provides instruction orindividual learning instruction. So this application is expected to facilitate thefaculty staff and students in teaching and learning activities. The thesiselaborates the process of designing a web-based ITS by using PHPprogramming language and MySQL database.
