摘要：Key Words: ontology model, inventory information, VCD and DVD Rental,ProtegeABSTRACT :With the development of information technology today, it is the nature oftodays information is also experiencing growth. These growth pushed sourcesof information become increasingly dynamic, autonomous, diverse and large.The diversity that occurs not only at the technical level but it is also at the levelof representation of information. This difference can occur in syntactic,schematic and semantic level. Because of this diversity, it is for the exchange ofinformation between the various sources will be a constraint. To overcome thoseproblems, it is developed a method. This method is by using a Semantic Webontology approach Through this research, it discuss the use of an approach toontology-based data model for storing a database of inventory information onVCD and DVD Rental Video Club with protege3.2 Beta.
