摘要：Key Words: ontology mapping, interoperability, hotelABSTRACT :With the development of information technology today is the nature of todayinformation is also experiencing growth. These developments pushed sources ofinformation become increasingly dynamic, autonomous, diverse and large.Information diversity occurs not only at the technical level but also at theinformation representation level. This difference can occur in syntactic,schematic and semantic level. This diversity also occurs in the domain of hotelthat does not have a reference standard in tourism domain. Traditional methodsare not yet able to overcome the diversity issue and to achieve interoperability inheterogeneous data sources. So with this method the results can not necessarilyrelevant to the user desires. One of the best possible approaches is to develop theQuery Rewriting that based on ontology and mapping. Mapping approach isused GLAV (Global-Local-As-View) which is a combination of GAV(Global-As-View) and LAV (Local As-View) approaches. While there isdiversity in the terminology of each source of data for a particular domain namebasically says the same meaning defined in the common ontology. At thisresearch explained and illustrated query rewriting steps to create the hoteldomain mapping using Protégé 3.4 tool.
