摘要：Defense segment in Gunadarma University is the department that responsible in process of trialscholarship at the University of Gunadarma. This paper discusses the development of defensemanagement applications. The program that built focuses on the process of determining lecturerexaminers, examiners recapitulation, and reporting of trial results. This application is a webbasedapplication. It is designed using the web approach by referring to the stages of web-basedprogramming with the waterfall model. The stages include defining the problem, thespecification and design analysis, process analysis, integration and system testing, as well as thelast stage is the operation and maintenance. For software components, at least using theWindows 98 operating system or Windows XP and package of Microsoft Office 98, PHP5,MySQL5, and APACHE2. Testing program conducted with storing all the programs inc:/program files/apache software foundation/apache2.2/htdocs/mega.Program starts by opening Internet Explorer, then type in http://localhost/mega orhttp://127.0.0.1/mega and the application display will appear. After doing several testing, it canbe concluded that this application has advantages than the previous application which is thisapplication can be more efficient in performing defense segment in University of Gunadarma
