  • 摘要:Biometric-based identification system is a system identifier uses the body orspecific characteristics of human. Various types of system require individualrecognition mechanism to identify trusted individuals who request the servicesystem. Research carried out is part of the fingerprint recognition system, wecreate the extraction algorithm of fingerprint pattern image obtained fromsensor. Extraction was carried out to obtain a fingerprint pattern arrangement ofsingular points (core and delta) that are stored in templates. The algorithm usedis Optimized Singular Point Detection based on feature global and functions tooptimize the extraction, the accuracy in detecting singular points and speed inthe process of enrollment and verification or identification. Algorithm will bedeveloped in Matlab 7.0.1 which will eventually be applied to C languageprogramming. We use Matlab programming to test the algorithm, consist ofenrollment program, verification program and 20 fingerprint image taken from adatabase of Fingerprint Verification Competition 2004 (FVC2004). The resultsof test is speed, an enrollment program with an average speed of 3.32s andverification program with an average speed of 3.39s, measured by Matlabfunction, the stopwatch function (tic or toc or start and stop which is placed atthe beginning and end programs), matching (True and False) and the number ofsingular points in fingerprint images.
