摘要：The city of Jakarta is a city with thedensest population in Indonesia. As capital city, Jakartabecame the center of all activities and objectives of popula-tion from other areas to earn money. Many problems thatarise because of the dense population in the city, amongthem are health problems. Therefore, the existence of hos-pitals as a means of health is very important. The authormakes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping thelocation of the hospital in South Jakarta using QuantumGIS 0.9.1 and MapServer with Chameleon framework andPostgreSQL support. Quantum GIS is used for map digitiz-ing process. To use the PostgreSQL database 8.2.X. As formaking a web-based information system, the author usesMapServer 5. Adobe Dreamweaver CS 3 is used to edit thecoding and display of web GIS. The information presentedfrom hospital layer consists of a hospital name, hospital ad-dress, phone number, fax number, websit e and the imageof the hospital. With the Web GIS community is expectedto more easily identify the location of a hospital located inSouth Jakarta. Bibliography (2001 - 2010)
