摘要：GIS (Geographic Information System) is a system used to manage (input,management, processes, and output) spatial data or referential geographic dataand attribute data in the form of tables, for example, administrative data ofDepok city population. Administration of residence is important in structuringand controlling activities in the issuance of residence documents and datathrough population registration, civil registration, and information processingand utilization of the results for public services and development. Today Depokadministration does not have the completeness of population then it makesdifficult to get information on population data for the needs of society andgovernment, it needed a system with a database of information that can facilitatethe Depok city government to manage and obtain information. Therefore beimplemented into a geographic information system based on external data usingArcView 3.3 software and Microsoft Access.
