摘要：E-learning as a learning medium might be considered as a useful tools that support theEnglish learning and teaching process for both regular students and for students withspecial needs. The purpose of this paper is to construct an English e-learning applicationthat serves both regular students and students with special needs. The e-learning web-siteis developed using the concept of Unified Modeling Language (UML). The database isdesigned using PHP and MySQL. Animation processing and web-site developmentsoftware are employed to design and create the content and the interface of the web-site.The e-learning resulted from this research represents pages of lesson subjects provided bythe teachers, as well as discussions and questions came from the students. The pages areattained with attractive animation that helps students and students with special needs tounderstand the materials.Targeted users of this e-learning application are site admin, teachers and students. Theapplication is built using 11 tables, i.e.: Admin, Siswa, Kelas, Guru, Materi, Soal, Nilai,Tanya_Jawab, File, jadual, dan Ambil_Materi tables. The application enables teachersand students to interact.
