摘要：The aim of this research is to establish an SMS-technology-based customer serviceapplication for PT. Semesta Citra Dana. PT. Semesta Citra Dana (Semesta finance) is afirm majorly focuses on financing motorcycle purchases. Information delivery tocustomers, collectors, and headquarter staffs plays important support role in the successof the firm’s operations.The application is projected for sending information to customers, collectors, andheadquarter staffs. The application development begins with the phase of accomplishingthe concept of information sending automation and ends up with the implementation ofthe program. The application is built using Visual Basic with Microsoft SQL Server asthe database storage, NowSMS as SMS gateway, and Email Gateway used for sendingauto sender emails within the database.The application consists of 3 modules, namely the modules of informasi overduecustomer, surat peringatan kolektor, and info status karyawan. The module of informasioverdue customer automatically sends short messages of the payment due date to thecustomers. Four databases are employed. Consecutively, Db_SMSGateway,Db_MailGateway, Db_Utama and Db_Karyawan are used as the data storage of SMSmessages, e-mail, the customers and the firm-employees data.
