摘要：GeographicInformation Systems (SIG) is a computer-based system de-signed to collect, manage, manipulate, and display spatialinformation (spatial) information in the form of a related ge-ometric in the sense that such information can be measured,calculated, and presented in a coordinate system, with dataform of digital data comprising position data (spatial data)and semantic data (data attributes). Writing will discussabout the geographic information system building in SouthJakarta district school-based web based data has been ob-tained. Making WebGIS is made using Mapserver, Quan-tum GIS, PostgreSQL as the data basenya and Chameleonas frameworknya. While the programming language used isHTML, PHP and CSS. With this application, it is expectedto be used by various parties, especially the parents in ob-taining information on proper school for her son who servedin the form of maps.
