摘要：The SMAN 80 Library is one of the responsible institutions as a source ofinformation for the implementation of teaching and learning process. At thistime all the data are stored in the library manually on the ledger, resulting ininefficiency if we return to see the data and the most possibility data iscorrupted. In addition members can not know the availability of books withoutcoming to school. The purpose of the design process of this application is tocreate a website to facilitate student or teacher in borrowing as well as searchingbooks in the library through an online book reservation, besides to facilitate theschool in managing the books. Based on the borrowing and repaymentprocedures in a library book SMAN 80, the design of book reservationapplication is made by using the PHP programming language to create dynamicwebsites, MySQL as the database and Dreamweaver as a web editor. With thiswebsite the library system at SMAN 80 is coordinated better, admin more easilyenter and search the desired data, and data security is more assured. Membersmore easily search for books and borrow books with these online services.
