摘要：Humans are still much useof banners as a medium for the delivery of a informationthan utilize a small microprocessor better known by thename of the microcontroller. Microcontroller that can becontrolled through a program can be utilized to create a in-formation media. The use of a microcontroller as a control,then made a running display tool that can be controlled bythe microcontroller. Running display tool is programmedvia the C language to display the words "WELCOME atGUNADARMA UNIVERSITY ". This tool is a series ofelectronic components consisting of le matrix, shift regis-ters, and the microcontroller which will be assembled intoa running display device that controlled by the microcon-troller. Microcontroller will provide output form of inputdata and clock to shift register that serves as a slider oncolumn matrix led. The Microcontroller is also connect di-rectly with LED line on led matrix. At the time led lightsup the rows and columns will be structured writing WEL-COME at UNIVERSITY GUNADARMA on a display thathas been programmed via the C language Program. Fromexperiment tools conducted, the display can display the cur-rent text moving from right to left direction, stopping inthe middle, and moving from left to the right. References(2004-2010)
