摘要：There are various kinds of media we can use to access information about thefilms being shown in cinemas and made a movie ticket booking process. Themost common thing that made the consumer to obtain information is to come tothe cinema. In addition to coming to the cinema, the consumer can also useother media like the Internet media. Mobile media can be used to complementexisting media today. With mobile phones, accessing information films andcinema ticket booking can be done where and at any time. Writing is aboutmaking the mobile applications as an alternative medium of information accessfilms that were aired and booking cinema tickets. Applications are built will bebased on the use of Java and GPRS technologies. This application will accessthe information stored on the internet through cell phones with GPRSconnection. Java technology is used, specifically the use of technology, J2ME(Java 2 Micro edition), which used to be implemented in various types of mobiledevices, the devices that have been supporting Java technology.
