摘要：In communications technology, there are two media play an important role. Firstthe cable media, which in this media communication tool use the cable networkto communicate. Second the wireless media, where the media have two devicesin order to communicate namely the access point and wireless cards. In thisthesis the author uses these two tools to measure and analyze the transmit powerof the existing hotspot network at the campus D of the Gunadarma University.The access points are located on campus D of the Gunadarma University D atthe guard post, the building where the booth registration of courses take place, inthe president secretariat, at the window overlooking the garden library, secondfloor of building 2, first floor of building 5 and auditorium at forth floorbuilding 3. From the five locations of the access point measurement and analysisis performed in order to get the data that will be processed into information thatcan be used on campus D hotspot network mapping by using WirelessMonsoftware installed on notebook Acer Aspire 3004 U.S. NLCi.
