摘要：Geographic Information System or abbreviated as GIS is a computer-basedsystem that is currently widely used in various fields such as tourism, industry,education and others for the purpose of mapping and dissemination ofinformation search on an object. What distinguishes GIS with other informationsystems is the ability to link GIS with geographical data, so it is not merely amodification of conventional maps to digital map form for then printed / copiedback, but he was able to save, transform, display, manipulate, and analyzenon-spatial data and spatial data from a regional geographic phenomenon. Inthis thesis, the author makes an application that can link spatial data and nonspatial data industry companies who are registered / licensed business in theindustrial city of Depok to be easier for users (especially the Department ofIndustry and Trade of the City Depok) to obtain integrated information betweenSpatial data and non-spatial data on industrial enterprises are. The application isbuilt using MapInfo 7.8 software and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
