摘要：Hectic situation faced by administratorsturn them cannot monitor the networkswhich are handled all the time. Therefore,it needs a mechanism to sustain thiscondition.Short message is one of the facilities in acell phone. With this facility,administrators could use it to conduct themonitoring process.By using this facility, networkadministrators can get the informationabout the network they are dealing inautomatically, if a server is paralyzed , bysending a short message notification sentby the server computer.To implement this mechanism, it requiresa GSM Modem and network monitorapplication system. One of theapplications of network monitorapplication system is Nagion which hasalready installed with modul to send ashort message that can be suited dependson its needs. To connect a GSM Modemwith server computer in orer to send theshort message required a Gateway shortmessage application, one of the ServerTools short messages.
