  • 摘要:Technological growth demanding in ease to present the analysis of complexdata, and complex data structures include spatial data types and non-spatial.Geographic information system is the answer to that question. Manyapplications that can be handled by geographic information systems, we chooseto do the development of geographic information system applications in the fieldof health. This is one manifestation of the author care what happens in theenvironment, exactly on the spread of dengue disease. DBD data used in thispaper is located dengue outbreak in South Jakarta area in 2004 until the year2006. In this research, the author makes an application project that shows orvisualize the spread of dengue disease in the form of maps of South Jakarta area.Of the project is expected application can be used by the Jakarta Health Officeto conduct outreach to the community in general DKI Jakarta and South Jakartacommunity in particular. Project application is created using ArcView 3.3software and a little extra Avenue programming language that is language that isintegrated with Arcview.
