摘要：Forecasting (forecasting) the sale of products and services in the future and is avery important part in the planning and supervision of production. Goodforecasting is essential for the efficiency of manufacturing operations andproduction services. Production or operations management using the results offorecasting in decision making concerning pemlihan process, capacity planning,and layout of facilities, and for the various decisions that are continuous withrespect to planning, scheduling (scheduling) and inventory. The purpose ofscientific writing is to know the size of the sales forecast in March 2008 -December 2008 and also to find a more suitable forecasting method used by PT.Persada Nusantara. And the results of this study is to Trend Moment methodwith the equation Y = 43 658 362X; The forecast result with Least Squaremethod with the equation Y = 46 011 388X.. And for the level of error orerrors occurred largely because of too low forecasting sales made by thecompany compared with sales in fact.
