摘要：This work develop the system of rental media tape between data center andlibrary. The system reduces the errors and time consume arrised by manualprocess while record data in media volume during end of day process. Normally,the process of request of media tape record needs around 20 minutes fromcompletion the form request until receive the media tape. To overcome theproblem, the interface is created in IBM S/390 machine by using the Job ControlLanguange (JCL) to complete electronically the form request until the recordingprocess after end of day. The list of data I/O that will be recorded is sent usingFTP to the Librarian and then librarian directly prepares the tape and record thedata without complete the form request manually. By using this new system, thearchiving process will be completed as soon after the End of Day.
