摘要：Inventory control of raw materials made bycompany. Moreover to determinewhether the methods used can meet the needs of raw materials sufficient tosupport the production processes effectively and efficiently. The method used bythe authors in this research is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The author usesthis method because this research aims to determine the optimal number oforders, so it could get a lower total inventory costs. From the results of the studyauthors on the Indonesian Product PT.Sterling of raw material inventory controlmethods, the methods used by the company is to make a reservation rawmaterials in quarterly (three months). After the author conducted the research,the authors conclude that firms in conducting the inventory control of rawmaterials has not been obtained maximum results, so the total cost of inventoryis greater, when compared with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).
