This causes the steel industry in Indonesia could be bankrupt. And in Indonesia still needs to be done a lot of development that requires steel.This study aims to predict the steel company listed on the Stock Exchange with Z-score method over five years from 2004 to 2008. This study also wanted to know the accuracy of the method of Z score prediction against reality on the ground. Whether this is predicted to go bankrupt companies actually went bankruptThe results using Z-score indicates PT. Jaya Pari Steel Tbk. and PT. Lionmesh prime language. not predict bankruptcy. To PT. Prima Alloy Steel Universal Tbk. in 2004 are in gray areas or areas prone to bankruptcy and in 2005 to 2008 is predicted to experience bankruptcy. As for the PT. Steel Works Tbk from 2004 to 2005 is predicted to experience bankruptcy. The prediction results of the Z score and then fitted with the circumstances of each company. The company is predicted to go bankrupt, PT. Steel Works Tbk and PT. Prima Alloy Steel Universal Tbk. proved to have a problem with company performance and corporate performance tends to decline.
