One way todeal with such competition is the ability to be able to predict future sales.Analysis of forecasting sales at PT SINTATEX, is to know where theappropriate method to use and predict the sales in June 2007, among themethods used are Moving Average Method 3 and 4 months, Weight MovingAverage 3 and 4 months, with measurement error rate is Mean AbsoluteDeviation, and trends straight-line method is Least Square arch dam line methodto measure forecast error with this assessment.. With the least square method inJune gained 1319882.53 yards and a curved line method 1241060.94 yardsgained by a margin of error on the least square method is 43433.027 and thecurved line method obtained an error rate of 61146.71.
