摘要:Nowadays, English becomes an important language in the world. Half of peoplein world use English in communication with others, even with children. Englishhas a big influence in many aspects, such as in culture, technology, art, foremostin education. In this modern era, children must acquire English language frombeginning. Introducing English begins the preparation in their early childhood,that is a Kindergarten School, which is something fundamental and the first stepto learn English. Hopefully, they may become high quality human resource inthe future. Based on those reason above, the writer elects this title. The aims ofstudy of this research are; to find out the English teaching method used in TKBudi Asih Jakarta, to find out the various materials given by TK Budi AsihJakarta, and also to know about the correlation between the teaching method andthe students achievement in English. The method of this research used fieldresearch and library research. A field research consist of observation, datacollection, and data analysis. The result of study are; the materials used in thefirst grade at TK Budi Asih are The Introduction Vocabulary, Speaking, andListening; the methods used in this school are The Direct Method, TotalPhysical Response, and Communicative Teaching; the technique used in thisschool are; Q and A (Question and Answer), Games and Play, Singing andDancing, Re-telling Story, and Pictures. The impact of teaching method with thestudents achievement is with the right method, it can help students ability.
