摘要：ABSTRACT :The problems of this research are: What are the psychological influences in thedevelopment of the Protagonists? What are the protagonist behaviors to thesociety?. And the aims of this research are to describe the psychologicalinfluence in the development of the protagonists in the novel, to describe theprotagonists behaviors to the society. This research uses qualitative method,which is descriptive because it relates word and sentences, and a suitableapproach for this research is a psychological approach. This research analyzesthe influence of family, friends, and environments and protagonists behaviors tothe society from the two novels: Bloodline and Morning, Noon, and Night. Thepsychological influences are strongly influences someone to becomeprotagonist. The psychological influence of Elizabeth were; family, friends, andenvironment. The psychological influence of Harry Stanford were; family,friends, and environment and the protagonist behaviors to the society. Theauthors had similarities in the psychological influence and the behavior of theprotagonist characters. And the differences are in the physical appearances,personalities, and social backgrounds.
