摘要：In this research paper, the writer conducts translation of a story book The LittlePrince take from a Harvest Book. The writer takes this story book because it isvery interesting to read and also interesting to know about story of childrenimagination. The story book The Little Prince tells about the pilot airplaneswho had an accident with his plane in the Desert of Sahara, six years ago and hemet a most extraordinary small person The Little Prince who came fromstrange world where the little prince lived everything is small. They make aclose friendship. Someday they walked at forest, and they were separated. Thepilot tried to find out the Little Prince but he cant find him. Since that timeThe Little Prince never came back. The pilot very disappointed and hedecided he never ignored what children thoughts. In doing this research paper,the writer translates the story book and solves the problems faced by thetranslator in carrying out this work The writer hopes that the learners canunderstand more in translating some texts by reading this research. The writeralso suggests for a translator to understand about the source text first before theytranslate the text. It will be very useful if the learners understand the culturefrom which the source text is taken in order that the result of the translation isapproximately, culturally also equivalent.
