The researcher tries toresearch this novel in order to get the data of subject pronoun I, you, she, he, we,they, and it. The aims of this research are to know the percentage of EnglishSubject Pronoun ( I, you, she, he, we, they, and it ) in Indonesian and theirequivalents of English Subject Pronoun ( I, you, she, he, we, they, and it ) intoIndonesian Language. For this research, the researcher takes from the novelWhile the light lasts was written by Agatha Christie. It was published in 2003 byHarper Collins. It consists of 252 pages and 9 chapters and researcher also takesthe data from novel in Indonesian language. It was published in 2003 by PTGramedia Pustaka Utama. It consists of 203 pages and 9 chapters. For thebeginning the researcher collects one hundred data and choose the topic fromchapter 1 until 9. Secondly, the researcher analyses one hundred data of subjectpronoun and the data in the table are discussed to see what the translation are.
