摘要：ABSTRACT :Sherlock Holmes is great novel and particularly interesting one. By anydefinition it is a great book, full of adventures, with the intelligence of adetective, and the lessons about life. Unfortunately, there is gender issuetowards woman in the story. The strong interest to this novel stimulates thewriter to explore further about the gender discrimination towards woman inArthur Conan Doyles A Scandal in Bohemia. In completing this scientificresearch paper, the writer used the library research. By reading this novel, thewriter tries to analyze the aspects of gender discrimination towards woman in AScandal in Bohemia by using feminism perspective. After analyzing the novel,the writer found that the gender issue towards woman is strongly exploited. Thewoman is assumed has lower level, has no rights equality, has no power andmany more. vi
