摘要：In this research, the researchers conducts the research because there are a lot ofproverbs in English that contain values of life. This is the reason why theresearcher conducts a research. The problems of this research are moral valuesin English proverbs and the most emphasized values in the proverbs. The aimsare to find out the moral values in English proverbs and to find out the mostemphasized values in the proverbs. In conducting this research, the researcheruses a qualitative method. The results of this research show that the moralvalues that exist in English proverbs are aesthetics, carefulness, certainty,courage, education, effort, friendliness, goodness, gratefulness, happiness,heroism, honesty, humbleness, patience, religiosity, self-control, togetherness,truth, certainty, uselessness, value judgment, and wisdom. The most emphasizedvalues in the proverbs are effort, truth, self-control, carefulness, education,gratefulness, uselessness, honesty and patience
