摘要:ABSTRACT :In some parts of Indonesia, English has been taught to the students since theywere at Play Group. It is taught by introducing them vocabulary that availablearound them. However, in Indonesia it is started when the students were inElementary School, but some Play Games started to teach English in theirschool. The Play Group tries to introduce English as soon as possible to theiryoung learners so that in the future they can adapt to global era. And if they canspeak English, it can be the great asset for a better future. The aims of the studyfrom this research are to find out the methods that used in teaching Englishespecially vocabularies at TK Harapan Baru. Besides, the writer wants to knowthe difficulties faced by the teacher at TK Harapan Baru. The methods that usedin this research, including interview, observation, and library research. Theresult of this research are data available from TK Harapan Baru, Englishteaching methods, the teaching aids and the difficulties faced by the teacher andthe students in learning English. To complete the data the writer uses theInternet Facilities. After observing the method used to teach vocabularies in TKHarapan Baru, the writer gets the result of the research. The Method of TeachingVocabulary in TK Harapan Baru is direct method. This method involved theactivities such as speaking, imitating, and writing.
