摘要：keyword: ENGLISH TEACHING, METHOD, ELEMENTARY SCHOOLABSTRACT :English is an important language in education used as a media ofcommunication. It is an international language and the second language afterIndonesian in our country. Indeed, all the people have to master English wellfor any reason or chance such as for the purpose of giving or receivinginformation and for the development of education, technology, and art. Thechance to learn English is not only limited for a normal person but also thepeople who can not hear, speak, and see also can learn it. This researchexamines the kinds of teaching method done by the teachers in 2006 at SDLB C Negeri 01 Lenteng Agung Jakarta along with its material. The whole part ofthis research uses the qualitative research. The writer takes the data from SDLB C Negeri 01 Lenteng Agung using interview and observation and supportedby the books related to the topic. The methods used in SDLB Negeri 01Lenteng Agung are: The Audio Lingual Method, in this method Students areasked to repeat the teachers model as accurately and quickly as possible. Thesecond is Community Language Learning, in this method teachers used smallgroup activities because teachers believe students can learn from each other andcan get more practice with the target language by working in small groups. This can lead to the development of a community among class members. It does notmean that the writer judge the other method is not good for disabilities students,but the method proposed is successful for disabilities students at SDLB Negeri01 Lenteng Agung
