  • 摘要:This research aims at describing at how Computer Assisted Language Learningdevelops for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia) and how far theeffectiveness Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) for learning SIBI(Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). In arranging this research paper, theresearcher uses a descriptive quantitative method. This method is used in orderto solve the problems statements and the aims of the research. The researchergives a questionnaire to teachers from Elementary Handicapped School SantiRama, Cipete. The number of teachers who answered the questions is twentystudents. The numbers of questions are fifteen questions that divided into threeaspects: the first aspect is appearance aspects, the second is content aspects, andthe last aspect is interaction of usage. The result of the research showed thatthere are a few steps to develop a Computer Assisted Language Learning: (1)assessing the needs to identify goals; (2) analyzing the result of assessment; (3)collecting the content of CALL; (4) making the program of CALL; (5) selectingthe instructional material; and (6) evaluating CALL. The second aim is how farthe effectiveness Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) for learningSIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia) is. And the result of research is got fromquestionnaire that given to twenty teachers from Elementary HandicappedSchool Santi Rama, Cipete. The numbers of questions are fifteen questions thatdivided into three aspects: the first aspect is appearance aspects, the second iscontent aspects, and the last aspect is Interaction of usage. After analyzing thedata The average score of the quality of appearance aspect is 2,28. So theresearcher concludes the appearance of CALL is clear or good for learning SIBI(Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). The average score of content aspects is 2,25.So the researcher concludes that content CALL is good for learning SIBI(Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). And the last, the average score of interactionof usage of CALL is 2,37. So the researcher concludes that interaction of usage of CALL clear or good for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia).Based on the result of study that refer to score average of the three aspects, theresearcher concludes that Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) iseffective for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia).
