摘要：In literature research we can find the aims to become matter in the discussion orresearch like is analyzing character. It is analyzing character is easier to identifybehavior or characteristic the main character along with the dialogue andnarrator. We can know of its character more detail. The problem of this researchis: what are the characteristics of Constantin Demiris. Objective of this researchare to find out characteristics of Constantin Demiris. The data are taken fromseveral the books in the library and the novels entitle ï¿1⁄2Memories ofMidnightï¿1⁄2 as the source of data. The writer uses a qualitative method. It istechniques of collecting data are reading the novel, identifying and underlyingeach sentences or quotations that are related to the topic, the data that have beenunderlined are quoted. To find out character the writer uses techniques ofanalyzing data so that it is easy to do. The result of this paper is ConstanrinDemiris as main character and supporting characters are Catherine Alexander,Melina Lambrou, Spyros Lambrou, and Napoleon Chotas. The Characteristicsof main character is Constantin Demiris are artifice, revenge, murderer,conqueror of women and no appreciate feeling. We can take message from thisnovel.
