摘要：The writer wrote this thesis in order to analyse the changing character of Othelloas the main character in Shakespeares play Othello, through the psychologicalapproach. Through this thesis, we can study about Othellos mental characterwhich are great warrior and stronger could be a weak person. In addition, hismental interference has changed because of the provoked by someone elsewhich caused him jealous and angry. This thesis also analysis the influence ofthose Othellos changing character. This thesis used a qualitative descriptivemethod, which is not using any statistical procedures or with other qualificationways. Descriptive method describes the situation and the condition of thecharacter found in the play. The method focuses on observation to indication,events, and actual condition in past time. The use of this method is due to theproblem statements, objective formulated, and the data are in the form of words.The result of this study shown, that, there was some changing in Othelloscharacters. It shown, that, jealousy and anger made him killed his wife,Desdemona. His character changed from good became evil characters. He wasjealous and told his wife that she was cheating on him.
