摘要:Key Word: Comparison, interrogative sentencesABSTRACT :Interrogative sentences in English is divided into Interrogative Sentenceswithout question word Which is usually called as yes / no question, andinterrogative sentences with question word is called as WH- Question aresimilar with Interrogative sentences in Indonesia. Interrogative sentencesconsist 7 question words, they are â How, Who, What, Where, Why, When,Which. Because in its usage or application the English or Indonesian,Interrogative sentences has similarity and differentiation in meaning, positionand form. This problem intrigues the writer to dig up more about thosesimilarities and differentiation. As we know that interrogative in English isbounded with the position, form, verb and time, meanwhile in Indonesian it isnot. Considering the importance of learning both English and IndonesianInterrogative sentences, the writer decides to do a research on ComparativeStudy Between English and Indonesian Interrogative sentences In The Juror andSang Juri. The Interrogative sentences use Interrogative words and try toanalyze and compare what are the similarities and the differences between thosetwo languages. In this study the writer uses library research. This study isconducted by taking sources from reference books, journals, newspapers, andthe guidance. The writer also took the materials that are related to Interrogativesentences in English and Indonesian After accomplish this skripsi, the writerfound out that, There are similarities and differences between Indonesian andEnglish Interrogative Sentence. The similarities and differences occur in theposition, the form and also in the meaning of the words.
