TheUgly Duckling fable tells us about an awkward little birds search foracceptance. And inside the story, there are several lessons that conveys to thechildren. The lessons become an educational tool for children. This researchwas done to answer two questions which give the influence of fable to thechildrens development and the behavior of animals. To answer these questions, library research and field research are used. The writer found theoriesfrom University of Indonesias library and British Councils library.Meanwhile, the writer made research at Taman Indria Kindergarten with threestudents as respondents whose age 4-5 years old, the teacher and the mothers.
