摘要：This research aims is to find direct and indirect translated collocation into English in the field of sport. The data of the research was taken from the newspaper, sport news TV program, dictionary, and interview. The data was assembled two hundred fifty data. The result of the analysis shows that Between English and Indonesian collocation there are direct and indirect equivalence. It was found that Forty six percent of the data are direct equivalences and fifty four percent are indirect equivalences. The writer chooses Collocation in sport because those are many people donât know about translation of collocation into English in the field of sport. In addition, theresearcher would like to suggest to the other researchers to make a research of related topic with the difference texts.
