ROWLINGABSTRACT :This study wants to find out how are English Implicit Organizational Meaningof Passive Sentences translated into Indonesian. The subject of the analysis aresentences containing implicit meaning passive sentences in the novel HarryPotter and The Half- Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling and its IndonesianVersion Harry Potter dan Pangeran Berdarah-Campuran by Listiana Srisanti. The writer wants to find out how are English implicit organizational meaning of passive sentences translated into Indonesian In this study, the writer conducteda research that can be called as qualitative research, as there is a descriptionof data from the source as well as from the product of the translation of implicitmeaning in the novel. Implicit organizational meaning of passive sentence canbe translated implicitly or explicitly. A sentence which is translated explicitly,because the translator wants to get a clear and understandable meaning. Asentence which is translated implicitly, because the translator wants to avoidredundancy. Contextually, it can be understood in the previous sentence or thepreceding sentence (Anaphorically or Cataphorically)
