摘要：This research aims is to find direct and indirect translated collocation intoEnglish in the field of sport. The data of the research was taken from thenewspaper, sport news TV program, dictionary, and interview. The data wasassembled two hundred fifty data. The result of the analysis shows thatBetween English and Indonesian collocation there are direct and indirectequivalence. It was found that Forty six percent of the data are directequivalences and fifty four percent are indirect equivalences. The writerchooses Collocation in sport because those are many people donât knowabout translation of collocation into English in the field of sport. In addition, theresearcher would like to suggest to the other researchers to make a research ofrelated topic with the difference texts.
