摘要：The research aims to find out in depth picture of violence, the factors that causeand process of occurrence of domestic violence experienced by wives. Theresearch question raised is how the image of violence, why can cause violenceand how to process the occurrence of domestic violence suffered by the wife.The method used in this research is a case study. The subjects in this study areone man and one other significant person. A characteristic of the subject is awife who experience domestic violence, and has four children. Subjects aged 58years, a businessman and teacher of dance. The subject of four years ofmarriage. Data collection techniques used in this study is General InterviewGuide Approach (Interview with the General Guidelines) and nonparticipantobservation. Before conducting the interview, the interviewer prepares anoutline first outline of a hat-topic or issue that will be asked. No participantobservation is where the researcher did not participate in activities conductedsubject. Researchers act as spectators and direct recording in which recordingobservations immediately after the observations made or when the observationis in progress. In collecting data, researchers use a tool such as MP3 recordersand tape recorders, notebooks, stationery, interview guide and observationguide. In addition, we need a technical examination of the validity of the datatriangulation, observers, theoretical and methodological. The occurrence of theprocess of Domestic Violence experienced by subjects because of differences ofopinion between the subjects with her husband. Sometimes the subject feelsunappreciated by her husband and not respected by their husbands. Habits ofhusbands who like to hit, and slapped often experienced subjects. The existenceof harsh words and dirty that is not worth listening to is what makes the subjectfeel he is not regarded as a wife, on the subject has the desire and dream tobecome a good wife and a good mother to her children well. Subject husbandassume, that a wife should understand her husband,be obedient and do notanswer if the husband is angry or commenting at all.
