  • 摘要:ABSTRACT :For many students the beginning of the level of tension that emerged in the earlycourse of tertiary mixed with anxiety as arising from the separation from friendsand family, and anxiety about the formation of a new social life. Beginning levelstudents also have the typical pattern of behavior once in his life. Behaviorpatterns is what is called personality. Human personality may reflect theexistence of a pattern of behavior that characterize life in general can be groupedinto personality types extrovert personality and introverted personality types. Inadapting these two personality types has a different way. Objectives to beachieved in this study was to examine differences in levels of anxiety inadapting to new environments based on personality types extrovert-introvert atthe level of student research was carried out against the initial level of 85students at the University Gunadarma Margonda, initial level of 22 studentsextroverted personality type, 9 of type introverts and 54 typeambivert. Collecting data in this study uses a questionnaire to test the validityand test data reliability and two unrelated samples (independence) is the resultof this research can be concluded that in general there are significant differenceson the level of anxiety in adapting to the new environment of the early levelstudent who introverted personality and the extrovert. This study shows that theinitial level students who have an introverted personality type levels of anxietyin adapting to new environments is higher than the initial level studentsextroverted personality type. Reliability for the anxiety scale was 0909, of the60 items tested, 46 items are valid, while reliability for the scale of personalitytypes is 0.7354, the 46 items tested there are 21 valid items.
