摘要：Keyword: Key Words: SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE, FUTURE PLANS, RETIRING TIMEAbstrack:ABSTRACT :Retirement for some individuals is a fear because it reduce the various aspects of ordinary skill possessed, in this case, Monk et al, (2002), says a development does not stop at the time people reach physical maturity in adolescence or adulthood social in early adulthood. As long as people pass through every stage of its development from the beginning infants to adults will always occur at changes in the way they think they address problems they face, it also involves how inidividu solve the problem in terms of entering retirement, one of them is strengthening the individual’s spiritual intelligence itself. This study uses open-ended and structured interviews, researchers in this study also uses structured observation and non-participants. This period ranged from 40-60 years of age (Riyanti, Prabowa %26amp; Puspitawati, 1996). In the 55-60 years age this was a person will normally retire. Monk et al, (2002), says a development does not stop at the time people reach physical maturity in adolescence or adulthood social in early adulthood. As long as people pass through every stage of its development from the beginning infants to adults will always occur at changes in the way they think they address problems they face, it also involves how inidividu solve the problem in terms of entering retirement, one of them is strengthening the individual’s spiritual intelligence itself, Danah Zohar and Ian Marshall (in Agustian, 2003) defines spiritual intelligence is the intelligence to deal with the problem of meaning or value, namely the behavior and intelligence to put our lives in the context of broader meaning and rich. The results of this study, among others, related to the changes when going into retirement, the image of spiritual intelligence, and the factors influencing the process of spiritual development. The subject also has a high spiritual intelligence despite retiring from amenity, proximity, curiosity, creativity, construction, self-mastery, and religinya. Because the subject had made a subject of interest to socialize into people who remained able to open up and adapt to new surroundings including the people and activities. Besides that also produced the factors that affect the spiritual intelligence of the subject has always always wanted to do good things in life, and this does not change even though the subject has now been retired. This is caused by the proximity of God Almighty.
