  • 摘要:Keyword: key words: emotional intelligence, aggressive intelligence, teenagerAbstrack:ABSTRACT :Emotional upheaval that occurs in adolescents can not be separated from many influences, such as neighborhood, family, school and peers and doing activities in daily life. Turbulent energy demand is unfulfilled, and then the adolescent is often vent excess energy in the direction that is not positive, such as aggressive behavior that can harm themselves and others. By having the emotional intelligence of individuals can control their feelings and able to express emotional reactions, under the terms and conditions that exist so that interaction with others can be interwoven with the smooth and effective. Thus the purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and aggression in adolescent behavior. Subjects in this study is that the male adolescents and women, aged 12 to 21 years, and resides in the housing Wisma Cakra-Cinere, Depok. Data processing was done using a tool of SPSS for Windows Ver. 10. Results from this study show that on a scale of emotional intelligence, from the 69 items tested, there were 39 valid items. In general it can be said that emotional intelligence score distribution and aggressive behavior that has been taken is considered normal. Results from testing the hypothesis by using Pearson Product Moment, Pearson correlation value was obtained for -0553 with significantly for 0000 (p < 0.05), so the hypothesis was accepted, it means that there is a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence adolescent aggressive behavior. If seen from the mean, the empirical result that the mean score for emotional intelligence has a 104.07, which are among the hypothetical mean + 1 SD (97.5 + 19.5) that is equal to 117. It shows that emotional intelligence is in the category average. And on the empirical behavior of the mean scores of 63.11 aggressions, which are among the hypothetical mean-1SD (72.5-14.5) that is equal to 58. It shows that aggressive behavior is at an average category.
