摘要：ABSTRACT :The term autism was quite popular among the people. Autism is a disorder thatbegins and experienced in childhood. Various attempts have been carried out forthe parents in tackling the symptoms of autism. However, the handling of eachindividual with autism is different. Many of them experience digestivedisorders, allergies, vulnerable immune system, and suffered from heavy metalpoisoning. Various disturbances of bodily functions ultimately affect brainfunction. Parents have a dominant role in the effort to cure autistic children. Theparent is required to understand about autism and be able to give therapy theirautistic children. The purpose of this research is to know the difficulties parentsface in biomedical therapy for autistic children, the role of parents in thebiomedical therapy. The method used in this study is a qualitativeapproach. Subjects studied in this research are the parents of children withautism and biomedical therapy. Data collection techniques used by researchersis a semi-structured interviews and nonparticipant observation. The result of thestudy shows that parents face difficulties to handle biomedical therapy forautistic children. Parents find it difficult to control their children diet.
