摘要:This study aims to look at the role of social support influencing the adjustmentin people with hemophilia. Adjustment is a process which continues to handlethe demands of the needs, frustrations and conflicts, and able to establishharmony between the demands of his own with societal norms. The goal toachieve is a satisfactory relationship between the individual and societalenvironment. Social support means a close relationship between the individualand others who may be relied upon in an environment so that individuals canfeel support, attention, affection, feeling of being valued, assessment andpositive feedback from people who can be relied upon. In this study, theapproach used was a qualitative research in the form of case studies. The subjectof this research is a patient with hemophilia. The subjects in this study weremales, aged 22-28 years. Data was collected using an interview guide preparedfor a patient with hemophilia which includes causes, social support, andcharacteristics of social adjustment. It also uses the guidelines designed basedon the observation that adjustment characteristics. The phenomenon indicatesthat the subjects get social support, such as from the family and friends.
