摘要:Religion is an important dimension in the lives of many people, so that it has important psychological implications. Professing religion serves as a basic foundation affecting shared values of what is considered good and bad right and wrong. Religion is something that a person believes is called religiousness or religiosity. Individuals who internalize and live with the teachings of religion will influence tha attitudes, behaviors, actions, and outlook on life. in other words, religion teaching has great possibilities and opportunities to affect public attitudes toward inter-religious marriages. thus this study aims to test whether there is a relationship between religiousity toward intermarriage. The data was collected from young adult individuals aged between 21-30 years old, not married and Muslim. Data was obtained through a questionnaire. The total number of respondent who meet the criteria was 106. The result of the analysis shows that the correlation between religiosity score with a score of attitude toward intermarriage in young adult individuals whose religion is Islam. The higher the religiosity the more negative attitude toward intermarriage is.
