  • 摘要:Metal matrix composite (KML) is a metal alloy that incurred due to the mixingor combination of two or more kinds of ingredients that produce specific traitsbetter not owned by the original material. So KML is an optimization of thecomposition of the material that showed the best properties of its elements andoften also some properties that are not owned by one of the elements. Has beenfabricated metal matrix composites, Al-Cu4% - Mg2, 5% with Al2O3 amplifieris varied as follows: 0% (without reinforcement), 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10%.Composite was collected by using stir casting with stirrer speed 800 rpm, anddetention at a constant temperature above the temperature of liquid. Thisexperiment is testing metallographic, hardness testing and testing abrasive. Testresults on alloy metal matrix composite Al-Cu-Mg with the reinforcementAl2O3 10% obtained the highest maximum hardness value of 74.0 HR andminimum weight loss of 1.015 x 10-3 g / m. And for the lowest maximumhardness value is in the metal matrix composite without reinforcement was 58.6HR and the highest weight loss of 1.636 x 10-3 g / . key words: addition of resilience, al-cu-mg
