摘要:There are many high buildings which arecovered by glasses in Jakarta and itssurroundings. Those glasses must becleaned regularly. To lift up the cleaners,traditional equipment called gondola isused. The gondola lifts the cleaners fromone floor to another floor. The obstaclethat the cleaners must face is the weather.When the weather is too hot or when itrains, the process of cleaning will becomevery slow and the job will not finish ontime. This is because the gondola does nothave a shield or a roof to cover thecleaners from the heat and the rain.The aim of the research is to design anautomatic glass cleaner.The miniature of the automatic glasscleaner that is produced is using DC motorcontrolled by AT89S51 microcontroller.This microcontroller is using assemblerlanguage. The edges of the miniature arecovered by 20 centimeter elastic rubberwhich is able to move up and down, to theleft and right side in 14 minutes and 48seconds during the glass cleaning process.
