摘要：The authors describe the development of a simple embedded framework that provides the basis for the design of customised programmable automation systems for a variety of applications. The framework provides the user with a standard environment for system development that encompasses motion, plc, hmi, communication and general monitoring/control applications. The system can be extended to provide plug and play facilities that in turn facilitate automated reconfiguration for system extension or modification. Examples of the use of the system and potential extensions to new areas are provided
